Best way to get up there?

I'm currently a senior at high school and thinking of considering SUNY at Buffalo as one of my possible colleges to attend. The problem I have is that I live in Brooklyn.

It's a 7+ hour drive up to Buffalo, and I don't think I'd be able to drive by myself for that long as a beginner on the highway.

If I take the plane, how would I bring all my belongings and a car?

Drive your car up with your parents, you and the car stay, they fly home!

Are you sure you want a car up at school freshmen year?

If you all fly, shop your items to your dorm). Schedule a UPS pickup online and they come to your house and deliver anywhere.

It is convenient to drive up the first time, not only to bring up your stuff, but also to have access to stores (Target, Bed, Bath and Beyond) once you get to school.

Most schools do not allow freshman to have cars on campus. For your initial trip up for move-in you go up with your family or a parent. For vacation and back and forth, you fly home. Jet Blue has frequent flights to Buffalo.

bookmama22 - UB does allow all students to have cars on campus.

I’d go with crazed’s idea.
