The Chatham Hall rejection letter left me with hope. It wasn’t as painful as I thought it would be.

For me the BIG Packages were ONLY good news

were the acceptances in big envelopes and rejections in little envelopes? or is that just a myth…

That’s more or less true–but most acceptances/rejections come by e-mail first these days (I think Andover’s an exception), so the size of the envelope is sort of a moot point (unlike when I went to college back in snail mail days!)

All of my rejections and waitlist came in normal sized envelopes but like classicalmama said, I already had heard from most schools online.

Eh, I guess I’ll go with the rejection letter from Andover…not feeling too positive about it, :P

have you already gotten results??? im so confused :O

nope, admission is still accepting till February 1st, just feeling depressed about my chances… :(

Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Keep positive, even if you get rejected. Certainly makes a lot of things easier. If you’ve already sent in the applications, there’s no need to be worrying now. There’s nothing else to be done. I wish everyone the best of luck!

Yep - Andover’s waitlist letter comes in a snail mail letter. So don’t assume that thin means rejected.

Whatever fate has in store for the students here - know that you’re all quality candidates and the Adcoms are having as tough a time choosing as you are waiting.

Good luck.

BUMP (Tenchar)

Wow, I can’t believe it’s only going to be a little while before we get these letters!

Do the rejections come on March 10th too?

Wait, so do the results come in email on the march 10th and then the mails come later?

^I think it’s both, although Andover still ONLY does snail mail, :)

Exeter’s email comes in the junk mail around 5:45 and 6.
Good Luck tomorrow 2011 Applicants!!! :D

Go Big Red!

oh dear, i wonder if i’m going to get any sleep tonight. or maybe i’ll just wake up at 3 AM (pacific time) to check exeter’s email… either way, i’ll be too anxious to sleep!!!

For west coast applcants is it 3am?

well last year the email went out at around 6 AM EST, so yes, 3 AM PST. however, exeter hasn’t actually confirmed when they’ll send out admissions decisions, so i’m just basing this on last year… i could be totally wrong !

Does anyone know who the Exeter e-mail is sent to? I don’t want to wake up my dad before six just so he can sign onto his e-mail; we are not a ‘morning’ family :)
