I think this thread should be labeled IMPORTANT given how important it is. Until then, BUMP

If I applied through Gateway, how will I get notified about the admission decision from the schools? I am an international applicant and most likely won’t receive a letter/package on M10.

My understanding from chatter on this board is that international students receive email.

Many schools use email for everyone at least for the accept/waitlist/reject piece. Some still use snail mail for financial aid information (in the US). Some use mail/Fedex for acceptance letters too in the US. Each school will tell you how they notify and when. The past two years when M10 was on the weekend was more varied, and took some time for schools to finalize the details.

Good luck.

If they send an email, is it to you or your parents?

Whatever email you gave them in the application as the main email. But I’m in the US

Just gonna keep bumping this for everyone to read.

This is a great post and it was fun to read… hopefully we can revive it once the notifications start rolling in

bump… This is a great thread to read to pass the time.

I think MaineLonghorn is the prep school moderator… does someone want to ask him/her to pin this to the top so it’s not full of bumps?

Im gonna be camping by the computer…

Wait why did I repost that?
Anyways @stargirl3 Thank you so much for telling me around when we find out. Otherwise I would have been anxiously checking my email at 3am

That’s what I was thinking @stargirl3 Does anyone know how to contact the moderator?
