<p>Now it's widely considered by many that the PSAT is easier than the SAT. Is this true for the contents of the questions themselves or rather just because the PSAT is 5 sections and the SAT is 10 sections with an essay part?</p>
<p>From what I remember, the PSAT does not go as high in math, and yes, it has less sections.
But if you think that means you’ll do better on the PSAT than the SAT, it’s really not true. Some argue that your score will stay about the same–mine went from 193 to 2100, a nice improvement, and I probably could do better if I choose to take it again…which I don’t plan on doing. Also, the SAT score was with no further classes or real preparation, just a couple online quizzes the day before.</p>
