@DoinResearch you would think so, I think girls tend to reach out a bit better vs boys. So hopefully they can coordinate. All I knew was that we were providing the microwave and he was providing the fridge.
Once we arrived we realized he broughtwhat seemed his entire house with him along with 5 family members. It was very funny.
In the end we picked up a couple of items and that was it. His roommate has been great and they really lucked out. Boys tend to be a bit more chill
Also if youāre across the state like we are start scoping out storage units and be prepared to secure a spot early if youāre in a city environment.

One benefit over Amazon is you can have bulky items shipped to the closest store to campus and pick them up on move in day. We signed up last night because our family will easily save far more than the $29 annual fee.

@MomofJ5 Iāve seen the offer advertised at the checkout lanes at the store. Also, BBB has always offered an option for college students to go in, scan all the items they want, then you tell them which location you want to pick them up at and when and they will have them ready & waiting for you. We did this for our older D15 as she chose a college 900+ miles away. And you donāt pay til you get there and can change your mind on anything before you pay.

Last-minute plot twist! D just got a call from Pace accepting her to the FTVC program off the alternate list! Sheās totally confused and doesnāt know what to do now. Itās such a different program from Hartt, itās comparing apples and oranges.
What pisses me off is that when she first got the letter telling her she was on the alternate list, she had immediately emailed Pace and asked if she could sit in on some classes, so that sheād be able to make an informed decision if she did get accepted off the alternate list. But they never wrote back to her, so she forgot all about it. Now theyāre accepting her, and she doesnāt know what to do! I told her to call them and tell them she needs to sit in on a class ASAP!
@actorparent1 D1 was on Pace Acting WL two years ago. They did not let her sit in on classes. She was offered acceptance at the very end of April and felt she was not adequately prepared to accept.
