Big trouble

I have applied to the American University in Washington D.C, and before taking my toefl internet-based test, i was confident that i would get a high score, and i send a score order to the university, and after recieving my scores i got a 65, and the university requires 80 or more ;(..... i sent emails and called the toefl ets manager and they coud not cancel it because it will be recieved tomorrow.. what should i do, i have a high cumilative gpa GPA almost 3.94/4.00 and i go the the American International School of Kuwait. So do you guys think the university will reject me?!?!:( im freaking out! I will retake the toefl in January, and i will resend the toefl scores!

Email the admissions office, and ask them if resending scores in january will be fine. If it will fit in the deadline, you are ok.

no worries, schools usually don't even start looking at the applications in January :)

Just send it again when you re-take your test, but remember that you must meet the minimum at some point. Good luck!
