So what subject will he be teaching at Cornell?
What do we have to do to be in his class?

Also, is Bill Nye's contract going to be renewed?

Also, is Bill Nye's contract going to be renewed?

It says he teaches a wide range of subjects such as "public talks on topics ranging from human development and animal welfare to the works of W. Somerset Maugham. He delivered a sermon at Sage Chapel on his experience with religion, gave public readings and screenings of Python blockbusters.." I hope he continue to do that so a wide range of students can experience his lectures.

both of their terms expired last year, have they been renewed?

In the past they just pick a large lecture or two to guest lecture and do one larger presentation open with free tickets to the student body.

he'll have a Provost's Visiting Professorship (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provost_%28education%29) for 3 years

Cool! After all the hype about him bidding goodbye to the Cornell Community surrounding the Peter and the Wolf presentation, I thought he was leaving.

Good news!

Last year Bill Nye just showed up randomly in one of my Nanotechnology classes and gave a whole lecture about carbon nanotubes. It was awesome. A lot of kids took pictures with him.
