billing statement question

on the bill it clearly shows the $300 deposit but here is no deduction for the $400 housing deposit - does anyone know how that works?

At the end of the year, if you choose to live in university housing again, they will bill you another housing deposit for the 2010-2011 year. This year’s housing deposit will be credited at the end of the year for next years housing deposit. If you choose to live somewhere else, I’d imagine they just credit your account.

My son is now a junior and he is moving off campus for the fall for the first time This summer the $400 housing deposit he paid as a freshman was shown as a credit on my account.

thanks very much

Was the $40 housing fee ever credited? Or is that just… paid and forgotten?

Yeah, you don’t get that back, its for the application. You have to pay it again next year too if you apply for USC housing.

Oh, okay! Thanks War Chant!
