I had a 1270 (650M) (620V), a 3 page VERY well rounded resume including numerous varsity sports, 7 AP's total, a 3.7-3.8 GPA out of 4.0 and an excellent rank. I was deferred.

im still baffled by it

I am sorry to hear that you didn't get in. I don't think my GPA is that strong, but it is a 3.6 and my SAT were definitely not up to snuff (1160) but I had a lot of E/C's. I was Treasurer of my school's student council, I had about four volunteer jobs, I interned for a summer, I have had a job since freshman year, and the list goes on. Also, I had an interview with an admissions counselor, and I showed them I really wanted to go there. Hope everything works out xero

I'm still waiting for RD... any chance for International applicant with lower GPA??

Yeah with your stats you should definitely have gotten in..maybe you have a competitive high school and they accepted a lot from your school...either way im sure you will get in regular decision with your stats

can anyone else please post their opinions on if they think I will get in regular decision and also do you have any idea when we find out?

Guys, if your SATs are low, it won't hurt to retake (even if you go down, it won't matter). And just so you know, Binghamton took 100% of the people they waitlisted last year. It's commonly a safe school for people who live in NY state. Maybe even sending them something extra to show them you really want to go there would put you in.

Well Binghamton received almost double the amount of EA applications this year. What percentage chance do you think I will get in regular decision? Do you think that they definitely favor NY residents?

Do they accept a lot of international students?
