i am currently taking ap bio and plan to take sat2 bio in june, should i get a ap bio book or a bio sat2? are the topics in two exams similar? (i wouldn't be surprise if ap is harder, but just wondering=)

bio sat ii covers a smaller range of topics, but in more depth...if you've got a good grasp of bio, i'd go with the AP book...you'll need to choose molecular or environmental (i took molecular)...for the sat ii, brush up on the classification stratifications, cell structures and functions, and other stuff you learned in sophomore bio...g'luck!

If you're preparing for the SAT Bio, get an SAT prep book.
If you're preparing for the AP Bio, get an AP Bio prep book.

If the prep was the same, the companies would only put out one book and save themselves a ton of money.

I'd say get both. My AP bio score was a 5 while my SATII bio score was only a 630. The AP test is a lot harder, but the curve is a lot less harsh.

hatchamadoo--did you take M or E? i took M, 2 years after taking bio H...never took AP...not the greatest idea i've ever had, to say the least! =p

haha, I took molecular
