What are the advantages and disadvantages of taking BIO (315H) or CH (301H)?
Are they harder than regular intro classes? I took AP Bio but didn't take the AP test, and I took AP Chem junior year and got a 4.

When it comes to introductory chemistry, take the professor, not the course. You’ll get more out of a regular class with a great professor than an honors course with a bad one. That said, Lauren Webb who teaches 301H gets great reviews, so if you like chemistry you’ll probably enjoy her class.

Based on my knowledge, 301H isn’t inherently any better or worse than 301, and it really just depends on who’s teaching it. They use a different textbook (Otoxby instead of Zumdahl), but that’s a holdover from when Alan Campion (one of the co-authors of Otoxby) used to teach the course. He wanted to use his book for that course, and when the new prof took over, she just kept using it (a wise political decision). The 301H textbook isn’t that different from the 301 text, and you’ll probably use Google a lot anyway.
