I attent an LACCD college, currently taking Bio 3 which really isn't for bio majors but it was all that was available to me. Bio 6 and bio 7 is all that's required for transfer. Since Gen Bio isn't offered during the winter at any LACCD, is it possible to enroll in Gen Bio 6 and Gen Bio 7 at the same time in the spring?

If that's not possible, does anyone know how I can fulfull the bio series needed for life science majors by Spring? I've thought of everything, I just want to know if there's any possiblity I haven't though of.

Thank you.

What are the prerequisites for Bio 7? I’m not familiar with the LACCD layout but here up north at American River College, we have BIOL 400 and 410 (Principles of Biology and Principles of Botony, respectively). BIOL 400 is a prerequisite for 410 which means its not possible to be enrolled in both classes at once. I assume that logic applies to other college systems.

When are you transferring? If you’re transferring next fall, I would take Bio 6 during the spring and Bio 7 during the summer.

You can take both at the same time. I wouldn’t recommend it, but you can.
