Not sure if it’s same course you’d be taking.

She thought it was tough class as it was taught by a med school prof not used to teaching undergrads. Tons of reading. And he include lots of neuro-pharmacology on his exams–stuff not typically included in undergrad classes. YMMV.

Online classes have their advantages and disadvantages. Personally I find them convenient, but the lack of classroom discussion and interpersonal interaction are huge negatives for me. I find I learn as much or more from my peers and occasionally off-topic class discussions as I do from the assigned readings. I’ve found it’s often tough getting good feedback from instructors and peers in online classes since the their participation is time-dispersed and less urgent (or non-existent) for both you and them. It’s also really easy to let an online class slide and get way behind real fast. BTDT.

For me, unless there is no other available option, I strongly prefer in the in-person class–even if it is at 8 am or at 8 pm.

P.S. If you can’t make yourself get up for am 8:30 am class, how are you ever gonna manage those 4 am surgical (or ER or OB) rotation shift report times in med school?

thanks for the info. I mean, I can definitely wake up for the 8:30, but I would PREFER to have it later.

Biopsych:

Examines the biological basis of behavior, the nervous system, how it works to control behavior and sense the world and what happens when it malfunctions. (NW)

Topics include learning and memory, development, sex, drugs, sleep, the senses, emotions and mental disorders.

Not sure what is wrong with 8:30am class. Organize you prioroties in more meanningful fashion. Neuro classes are usually interesting for those who is interested in neuro. You have to asses if you are the one.
