Black Friday deals (and Cybermonday, too!)

SodaStream - 40% off (excludes CO2 cylinders)

Bought gel packs from ebay. The seller gave me a discount because I bought 7 of them. They are REALLY helpful providing prolonged heat to help ease sore muscles for back & neck. My BIL got some of them at a dental convention and paid a LOT more for them. Shipping was only $5 and the total of all 7 of them was just about how much we paid BIL for ONE of them. The brand is WonderPax. There are a LOT of them for sale online and on ebay. Ebay was MUCH cheaper, even for brand new in box sets.

I also bought a bunch of books on Amazon for assorted little ones in my life. The best deal was “Who You are Meant to Be,” which was highly rated and a large % off for Black Friday.

I just got a notification from Rakuten that I did in fact get my 12% rebate from the 3 vests I bought on Columbia.com, and I should be getting a $25 certificate from Columbia so that will reduce the net price I paid on my vests. Those are really nice and toasty vests.

Air tags are $80 for 4 on Amazon. That is a decent deal. Got some for our friends who can’t seem to keep their cats corralled!

That’s a great idea for pets!

Dyson has some BF deals in its site.

We saw a small child wearing one as a bracelet.

I have posted before…AirTag only works well where there are people with iPhones with services. Pets usually like to run into woods or places without a lot of people.

Our friends live in a very urbanized suburb! No forests for their cats to run to. more like roaming the ‘hood to pick a fight with a neighbors’ cat.

Interesting. If I were going to use one (my 2nd was a very creative escape artist, so I think they are a great safety idea for kids), I would slip it in a pants pocket or some other less obvious spot so, in the very remote chance the child was abducted, the kidnapper would be less likely to remove it.

The kid we saw wearing it was at Disneyland. It looked like a Magic Band. I think it was their alternative to a leash.

My granddaughter wears this when she is at an airport.

My 84 year old father, with all his mental faculties intact, but also with Afib, refuses to give up walking 2 of his 5 miles/day with his dogs late at night-in every kind of weather. They have a 6lb dog that does not always come when she escapes (so far only rarely and during the day) and is called so i advised them the other day to get an airtag.

Then it hit me like a ton of bricks and I said “Actually Dad, now that I think about it, we should put one on you too.”

My mom thought that was a great idea. My dad, not so much.

I just need to figure out how to sneak one into his favorite walking shoes, I think!

Lace it inconspicuously into the shoelaces and he will be none the wiser.

These have become my favorite pants. They are elastic waist, can be dressed up or down. I wear them to work with boots. I first noticed them when I saw D1 wearing them. They are on sale.

Those pants look like exactly what I want. Except for the inseam. I need at least 32 inches. 27 is going to hit me midcalf like capris :frowning: I’ll have to keep looking.

How tall are you?

5’10" and most of it is legs.

I have opposite problem. I am only 5’2”. Most pants are too long on me.
D1 is 5’9”, but her legs are not long. The pants come to top of her ankles. Those pants look like regular length pants on me.
I have them in 3 different colors (2 in black).

Have you purchased much from that site? How is the quality of their clothes? I noticed that Everlane has bodysuit tops that are NOT thongs (aka self inflicted wedgie). They are not on sale but look so tempting.
