I think so.
But, sometimes if sizing isn’t accurate, they err on the larger end.
I have a physical store less than 2 miles from me so it makes for easy returns.
So I’d be hesitant to encourage online ordering though if you don’t have a store nearby. (I know you are in HI.)
I’m sure it will be fine! This is what we have! Plenty of power for the area rugs on our ground floor where the three very sheddy cats roam!

I just got them about a week ago and haven’t washed them yet. I have an older pair that launders well and has held up for many years but you can never know if the fabric’s exactly the same.
@cellomom2 — how would they fit someone with 30” waist and 34” hips? What size would you recommend?

Do you know what your pant size usually is?
I currently wear a size 10 in most brands, have worn size 8 in the not so distant past and the medium fits me well. Not sure what my actual measured waist and hip size are, currently traveling but could check when I get home.
@oldfort I ordered these also! My office is very casual and I’m only there 1 or 2 days a week, but these look like they will work great with a blazer or sweater this winter.

@cellomom, women’s pants sizes are crazy. In Costco GVanderbilt jeans, I often wear between a 4, 6 or 8. They all fit similarly.
Not something I’d worry about at all. I was recently at a conference and I think everyone was wearing black pants!
I never really care whether I have same garment as someone else, or I would undo so much of my clothes shopping at Costco, like many who live in my area. Haha!
It’s all about how you wear it. 
I just have to post that I’ve done a really good job NOT buying much during Black Friday sales, even though Athleta and some other places are taunting me.
