Blue ink

Well, since Middlebury's application process requires you to send things in either all by paper or all online, which I couldn't do because of the athletic supplement, I sent everything in by hand.

And now, three days later, I realize that I used BLUE ink on ALL of my papers for there. The application, supplement, etc.

I'm freaking out.

Will using blue ink void my app? Should I re-do it and send it in tomorrow?

This blows.

No, I think blue ink is fine, though I find it quite weird how one would use blue ink for writing. I prefer black because it is a nice contrast from the paper.

Anyway, I think you're just freaking out right now, so calm down and chillax. It's going to be fine, or else the admissions office would've sent you a big fat notice in your email in-box saying your application has been rejected already, waaaaay before the announcement date.

Well, I'm in NJ so it won't reach VT until about next Wed-Thurs, so they'd have no way of knowing yet. I e-mailed them and have to call them tomorrow to give them CC information anyway, so maybe I'll ask them then. Thanks!

It doesn't matter.

Wait, what's CC information about? How does college confidential come into play?

Oops - I meant credit card by CC

LOL I was like.. collegeconfidential and Middlebury? Nuh uh.. didn't think so

that was plain funny

Well, I just talked to them - the woman at the admission office said don't worry about it and that it doesn't matter to them what color the ink is.

WHEW!
