<p>What is the signficance of the blue ribbon app? Is it worth it? Anyone else using it?</p>
<p>I got one too and have already started filling it out. There's no downside to using it because it isn't a binding commitment; just be sure to note that the app deadline for it is Dec 15. As far as I can tell from reading last year's threads, blue ribbon applications go to students who demonstrated interest and have high test scores.</p>
