Blunders after pressing the Submit button

I am a little depressed that I found technical mistakes when I submitted my Brown app just an hour ago.

One of my short answers is missing last two letters. Like missing the last letter and the period of the last word of the sentenc

like this above.

and what’s more maddening is that for my PLME uploads, i forgot to put my name, school, and birth date on top of the page! I was so excited writing the essay that I overlooked the directions!

Ah, on one hand it doesn’t seem that big of a deal, but I feel really stupid. I worked so hard on my Brown app too! I’m hoping that the adm. officers will just brush it off.

Don’t fret, at least they know now that a college counselor and a thousand teachers did not edit for you ;)

haha, that’s a good way to console myself! Thanks

Besides, brown kind of emits a “laid-back” vibe if you know what I mean… So I’m sure the adcoms will be fine about it. :)

My daughter made at least three typos on her app last year and she still got in  No worries.

Laid back? Don’t know about that. But if you think that their humane reputation, ok, laid back, means sloppiness and mediocrity is fine, you need to think again. What’s done is done, but don’t accept these kinds of hasty errors in the future. Just proof read your work. Brown’s standards are very high, as evidenced by the very small number of acceptances. The students who get in are exceptional.

I forgot to put my name, school, and birth date for my engineering essay too. I’m kind of worried. Should I call them?
