BME at Purdue and etc

<p>People have been telling me that Purdue has one of the best biomedical eng program, but it seems like none of the rankings have Purdue at the top for BME... </p>

<p>Because I live in Indiana, Purdue would be a great choice considering scholarships and I really like the campus, but does Purdue have a BME program that is competitive with like GT, JHU, Duke. I know it has a great overall engineering program and alumni connections, but not sure about BME...</p>

<p>i dont know who told you that but i think that is bs. purdue is good for industrial engineering. (i think???) I used to live in west lafayette and well, i havent heard anything much about purdue being one of the best biomeidcal program in the nation…</p>

<p>hmm, maybe because the undergrad program is relatively new, having been ABET accredited in 2008. Their grad program is apprently ranked 22nd.</p>
