BME v. 'Influence Essay'??? HELP

I was writing the "course which has had the most influence on your interests and goals" essay.

The problem is that I put down BME as my major but wrote about math and physics(I talked about applying theories to real-life situations) Is this ok?

i did something somehow like that

It would make sense to say that you like math and physics when applying for an engineering program, yes.

Would they like it? I don't know, but that's the logical thing to do. I wrote abour Art History. I'm in BME now.

what classes could u possibly write about??
its engineering, i dont think writing about ur american history class shows ur interest in that major, of course physics and math would be the best...

I thought they wanted Biology course

im writing about zoology. how i developed an interest for anatomy, the different body parts and their functioning... is that good?

BME has as much to do with Biology as it does with engineering, and the type of biology it has to do with is not covered in your high school biology class. IE you will not be reading about ecology and evolution and rain forests in your BME classes. AT least as far as I know. I'm only a freshman right now.

I don't work in Admissions, but I don't think it would matter. I actually wrote mine about my World Affairs (current events) class and I'm a BME now. Either way, biology, math and physics are all important points of the BME curriculum.

i wrote about an elective. lmao. i got into bme.
