even 7 was alot for me, I remember for Hotchkiss I wrote the main essay on the day of the due date… I screwed up in the interview anywayss.
so no hotchkiss for me? :D

i wouldnt completely drop hotchkiss,
i actually wrote the short (one line) essays for brooks in the car on the way to the post office on the postmark date…
i sent it missing about 3 questions on the short questions,
and well…i got in.
how’s that for screwing up? hehe
i got into miss porters, mercersburg, and peddie.
i got waitlisted at andover

I decided not to apply to miss porters brooks or… peddie
wow waitlisted to andover…
that’s pretty amazingg. lol
you know, I wouldn’t be so sad if I didn’t get into andover though.
But, my interview at andover was one of the best.
I loved it! I’m a christian and we talked about a lot of our religious views. I guess he was a devout christian. He said to me," Nothing is accidental, nothing is about luck. It is all planned out by God. I think where ever, what school you go to doesn’t matter. You’ll be successful." and… at the end we said good bye by saying “God bless you…” and all that.
I’m a little worried about the last part though…
is he implying that I’m not gonna get into Andover? XD
but… andover was greattt!

The reason the SSAT averages are lower than you might think is that a school like Exeter doesn’t try to have the 300 best students in their class. They try to have maybe the 50 best students. Then they want 50 good students who are really interesting. 50 good students who are great athletes. 50 really good day students. And so on and so forth. So somebody can look at their grades and SSAT’s and say “Hey, I would have been one of the 150 best students in that class!” but if they were trying to get in on academics alone, they are competing against a very small group of incredibly talented kids. That being said, you have a great chance everywhere,
