Does anybody know if students can choose the day that they can check-in (i.e.: August 12th or 13th) prior to BGR?
Yes, you chose your day and time window. Log in early when the window for choosing opens though.
PS. Purdue has move in down to a science. It goes very smoothly and there are tons of students to help direct and unload cars.
Any advice from out-of-state students on transporting belongings prior to move-in? Has anyone shipped direct to a hotel?
We got DD a student prime membership and shipped to the Amazon lockers on campus. Big stuff can also be shipped directly to your dorm. You’ll get more information on that over the summer!
I personally wouldn’t try shipping to a hotel.
We ordered online from Target and picked up at their Plainfield location near the airport. Seamless.
