<p>I have 7 books to buy this semester. Brand new, the cost from the bookstore would be $1062.90 and even if I were to buy them all used from the bookstore, the price would $796.35. Dammit!</p>

<p>Indeed, the Fall 2007 Book List is up for me, too! Thanks, 2+2=5, for the update! I really feel for you, with regards to the ridiculous textbook costs. I think I ended up paying close to that amount during the Fall 2006 semester.</p>
<p>Brand new, my cost is $507.93 + tax (of course, haha) for six books, which isn't too bad at all. I'm sure I can get some of the listed titles used. </p>
<p>I really wish the USC Bookstore either put more details about the textbook, or put the ISBN# on the Book List. That would definitely help out people who order books online.</p>

<p>Well, keep in mind that the Book List is capable of being updated. After all, this just might be the preliminary posting of the Book List. According to the USC Bookstore, the "official" Book List release date is the 13th.</p>

<p>WRIT-140 should have a course reader, but nothing else. I'm not sure about Freshman Engineering Academy.</p>
<p>Also keep in mind the syllabus handed out on the first day may be different than the book list that was posted.</p>

<p>I like how the ochem lab manual is listed as ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LAB "SURVIVAL" MAN. 7TH ED.</p>
<p>That actually is a survival manual. It isn't the official lab manual. That one will be an additional $20 after class has started.</p>

<p>if you buy right now (even up till the weekend) and get the faster shipping method (expedited or priority) for usually like 2-3$ more you will receive the books before you leave on the 22nd. I ordered mine on Sunday and received mine today in the mail. Try amazon or one of those online search engines like <a href="http://www.campusi.com%5B/url%5D">www.campusi.com</a></p>
<p>Alright well this is really wierd: I logged into Oasis to check out the book list, and even though I'm regestered for 5 classes, it only has 1 book listed! (for organizational behavior). Nothing for microeconomics, diversity & racial conflict, GLP freshman leadership seminar, WRIT 140...</p>
