What are some good books that give details about life in college, mainly with study skills, test prep and time managment?I didn't have all of these in high school and I'm gonna need these for college so I won't have a low GPA.

"The Naked Roomate: And 107 Other Issues You Might Run Into in College" by Harlan Cohen

I'm about half-way through it and it's definetly a good book to read when getting ready for college.

really, just have common sense. reading a book probably won't tell you anything earth shaking (do stuff ahead of time, go to class, don't panic, a B won't kill you, be assertive, yadda yadda yadda)

Many colleges offer courses or workshops for freshmen on developing study skills--take advantage if they do at yours....Dartmouth College website has some good material on study skills..

I don't think those books are that good. But there is one book that told me things I didn't know or that I'd take forgranted. Its called "Been there, should've done that" Its a really fun read, took. Short and portable. :)

Oh my god, that myspace one made me wanna puke.

Mercer University makes you read The Whisper of the River for summer reading. I guess it's about a guy getting ready to leave for college.

I really don't think you need them. Like elpope said, most of it is just common sense. Study time and test preparation really depends on yourself; what works for one person may not work for another.
Time management is basically making sure you balance out work and fun. Since you specifically mentioned you don't want a low gpa, make sure you get all your work done before you have any fun.
