boost up

my school offers 3 ap classes and i really want 2 go 2 ucla but 3 aps r not going 2 help, what can i do 2 help ucla notice me better.

Well, in your school profile it will say that only 3 APs are offered, so you will not be penalized. Try and maintain a strong unweighted GPA, and get your SATs into the 2050s and up. Are you in-state or OOS?

and you should go ahead and take comm.college classes to show initiative.

I did what DeantheMachn suggests. With the holistic admissions approach, I would think that it would be acceptable for your lack of APs given your resources. For what it's worth, I once read a statistic that for __________ year, the incoming freshmen at Stanford averaged about 5 AP courses. The statistic is cited in this blog entry and I cannot find its source.

Try to take the AP test for a foreign language that you are fluent in (e.g. Chinese). It's an easy 5 without taking any courses, and will help your odds at getting into UCLA.
