@gracein19 what’s bc’s twitter? where you read that they were released on the 3rd?

@krabbypaty it’s @bc_admission. They also just announced that decisions will be emailed next week (the 14-18). I am not down for these wide berth notification dates lol

Well, it seems like decisions are coming out during finals week :-S

It’s my finals week too–ugh

Consider yourselves lucky …Last year EA decisions were sent our via snail mail. 8-|

@3rdXthecharm Oh, God. If this year’s decisions are sent via snail mail I’d probably just camp out next to my mailbox.

I see so many people on other EA/ED threads freaking out and it’s just so quiet here lmao

@sungjong yeah I applied EA to Georgetown too and that page is filled with people freaking out… maybe less people applied EA to BC?

Yeah I know chapel hill went insane the moment EAs were due

I revisited this thread and was like what lol

I’ve been reading your posts, really want to go to BC, hopefully this is a good sign that not many people applied and we will find out on Monday.

I know an abnormal TON of people from my school (in CA) applied, which makes me annoyed and nervous, i feel like it makes me less unique/special lol

@lizard27 I applied to Georgetown too! I was so confused as to why people are losing their minds over there while it’s just eerily quiet here LMAO

@collegebound1516 I know, like, one other person who applied to BC early. There probably are other people, but eh. Hopefully the lack of posts here eases any anxiety you may have

jfkldjfkslad I can’t wait to open my email at school during finals week and start bawling my eyes out because I got rejected. Nice.

Haha @sungjong exactly at least we’ll blend in with all of the other people crying just because it’s finals week lol

apparently my friends are applying to bc with rd because of the acceptance rate… idk man idk i already applied so there it goes

Dear All : Rather than camping out at your mailboxes waiting for word from Boston College (or other selected EA institutions), let me offer a word of advice to you all which will allow you to pass the next 7-14 days in a more proactive pursuit.

Assume that you have been rejected from every EA school to which you applied.

Why? This will allow you to proactively work on every “match” school and “expected” school application that you will need to file by the end of December. If this effort turns out to be a “waste of time” with an EA acceptance, so be it; however, we often hear on College Confidential about students who were ill-prepared to tackle their Regular Decision target list, because they never actually started the work thinking they would be taken by someone during the EA round. Many things can go wrong (finances, location, or changing major interests not to mention being accepted), so it is better to anticipate that potential path rather than picking up the pieces later.

After the EA round, some large number of applicants to Boston College will be deferred. At that point, and only at that point, you can start to consider what additional material can be submitted for a Boston College acceptance … but that is down the road.

@collegebound1516 True true uwu At least we don’t have much time until we’re second semester seniors uwu

Are they definitely emailing them next week?

@nymt1998 yeah you should have gotten an email that said that? at least that’s what I got
