Boston College Deferred Applicants 2020

Everyone who has been deferred can post here.

Deferred. 34 ACT and over 3.9 W gpa. Kinda disappointed but it seems like a ton of people on here were deferred for some reason. From Ky

deferred with a 32 act and 3.87 UW. do we know what the acceptance rate for deferrals is normally?

deferred 2260 SAT and they dont calculate my gpa here. im from CT yeah what’s the acceptance rate for deferrals?

Deffered. 31 ACT, 3.9 Weighted GPA. First generation, Hispanic.

Deffered. 1920 SAT (writing score was quite low but CR and Math were better) 3.9 GPA UW and I’m not sure about weighted because my school doesn’t weight honors courses, and I’m not sure if other schools you guys are posting from do. From Rhode Island. Thought I had pretty strong ECs and essay.

Deferred. 34 ACT, 36 Writing, 3.1 GPA UW 12 APs from MN, not really sure what to make of my app… Upward Trend, but on track to hit 3.85UW this semester with 4 APs

Schools this year are deferring everyone.

Deferred, 35 ACT, 4.37 W/3.6 UW. Honestly, I’m probably wrong about this but I was surprised. I thought this was one of my best chances.

deferred to CAS, SAT 2010, 4.3 W/3.92UW. not surprised with my bad sat score but kinda disappointed.

Deferred to CSOM, SAT 2090, 4.8W/3.6UW. My essays were kinda bad.

Damn they deffered a wide range. I got deffered from CSOM with 3.65 UW and 2180 SAT

Deferred with 35 ACT and 3.7 GPA. Counselor said that she got a call from BC asking about my senior year grades, so that I was most likely deferred because they wanted to see my first semester grades

Deferred with 34 ACT, 4.15 gpa (weighted) 2150 SAT (780 math 710 reading) i did apply to the business school

Also, I forgot to send in my SAT II scores (800 Math II 750 Chemistry 800 Chinese), so…

@sungjong I took SAT II’s in December so I can send those in now.

Deferred with a 34 ACT, 3.9 UW GPA, and many extracurriculars. I don’t think my supplemental essay was that good. My stats were enough to get me into Northeastern with $20,000/yr merit and I would rather go there anyways so it’s cool.

2,700 people out of the 8,500 were deferred

average sat was around 2150 and 1400 for critical reading and math

How many rejected and accepted? @mabdel3487
