I’m from a large public school in South Florida. Our school’s college counselor has an online database of where kids from my school have applied to out of state and said I’m only the second person to apply to BC in five years. Does this help or hurt my chances.
If anything I would think it would help. But definitely doesn’t hurt. Im from a small high school in mid Michigan. always wanted to live in Boston. 
@kcirtap35 thanks. I fell in love with Boston last fall. I live in a large Jewish neighborhood and wrote about some of the unique experiences growing up in my community.

@collegeappstory it doesnt hurt nort help ur chances. BC doesnt make decisions on how many people in one school gets in. It would have to be statewise to have an impact on ypur application. For instancd if you were from like west virginia or arkansas, that would probably help you. On the other hand hundreds of kids in florida apply

@llegeAcceptanc I know how you feel! I don’t have any reasoning but for some reason I’ve been waiting for 5:00 to come all day for this decision. I’m probably going to get rejected anyways… I only have a 1900 SAT and a 3.67 UW GPA. I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALREADY THOUGH.

Wrote about how my first words as a baby were “more, more” and said that if I was Latin I would have said “Magis, Magis” then I said how my first words reflected how I am as a person and how I will achieve Magis in my life
America, those are kinda similar to my stats haha! But neither you nor illege should worry you’ll be okay if you’re accepted and if you’re not accepted
@kcirtap35 I wrote my common app essay as a letter to my father (coming of age) and then wrote the essay balancing a meaningful life vs preparing for a career. I wrote about how a serious health issue last year and how it has framed my desires for the future, my community, and how I want to lead my life in the future.
@llegeAcceptanc Exactly. I’m waiting on BU, UMich, USC, Cornell, GW, and BC. I have a low shot for all of them but who knows. I’m somehow still optimistic about these schools even though they are all reaches. Where else did everyone apply on here? I wish everyone the best of luck!
