I’m interested into going into medical school but not sure which one would be the best. UC berkeley’s grade deflation and huge size scares me since i will not be able to get classes / positions as openly. Carnegie’s huge engineering focus also sways me away. I got into the honors program at Boston college if that means anything but not sure how it compares to the other schools

You are the only one who can do any credible comparison. The only thing that is of importance is how they compare for YOU personally based on YOUR personal set of criteria. Other than that, if the plan is to attend a Med. School, they do not care if you went to some unknown local college.
