<p>Can you guys give me the rundown on stats and figures and good/horror stories (if any) on transfers to BU? I'm particularly interested in film and I'd be transfering from UChicago for sophomore year and beyond. Also very interested in fin.aid and need it!!! Are they good to transfers at BU with grants? <p>I need to go into film and UChicago just doesn't have the classes I want. I really only accepted UChicago because I was peeved I didn't get Northwestern U (which is what I WANT THE MOST) and because it is Chicago! But now I know I can't stay there more than a year so I'm stuck with a good-name school and a need for fin.aid and a need to transfer. I am now just checking out specific schools that interest me with their film prospects.</p>
<p>Sry not really sure which schools have good financial aid for transfers, but why not give Northwestern another shot? Your determination to attend there and the fact that you currently attend their rival should be enough to get you in. Do they not offer enough aid either?</p>
<p>I got really good fin.aid from UChicago which is why I need a school that can match it but also has a good film program. NU really meets everything I want - because IT'S WHAT I WANTED ORIGINALLY! Sorry, still peeved about it. :)</p>
<p>So if NU meets everything you want (including film school + aid) then apply there. As long as you have a decent GPA, there's a very high chance that you can finally go to your dream school. ;)</p>
