I personally think you have a good chance at Boston University

I wanted to know my changes

i have an unweighted GPA of 2.8 and a weighted of 4.0
i have taken all honors and AP classes
my sat is a 1200/1820

i have a REALLY long list of EC's from national swimmer to nationally accredited piano player

my essay was check by 3 college advisors, it was about my struggle with dyslexia and adhd and how i have grown from it and enhanced my thirst to learn.

i know my GPA is low, but i feel as though when the admissions people at BU read my struggle and how no one was there to accompany me or facilitate me they will see the my 5 c's on my transcipts are because of my struggle with numbers.

If you are weighting Honors courses, then I don’t think you have a great shot, and I can’t imagine how one gets from 2.8 to 4.0 without weighting Honors.

What is your Weighted GPA counting only AP courses as weighted?

I think everyone is trying to tell you that colleges won’t consider your weighted GPA a 4.0 since most DON’T weight honors classes. Recalculate with grades plus AP only and THAT is what colleges will consider your weighted GPA.

i went to my counsler and he said with AP classes like you are all saying i even showed him this post and he said it is. exactly a 4.01 so with that can some one please im begging tell me my chance even for CGS?? please im dying just let me know

Your weighted GPA means little because each high school weights differently.
I don’t think you have much chance at selective colleges with < 3.0 UW. Maybe if you’re
a URM.

There is always a chance! Their accepted students glass range from 2.5-4.0. If ur essay is as good as u say it is then in even better chance u have do u have a lot of extracirrular activities or sports any leadership positions nythin to make u stand out?
