@nickscythe Idk anymore. this year the universities in boston have really increased the amount of people applying… northeastern, boston college had apparently a lot more apps… Im scared for saturday now
I was just waitlisted from BC which may or may not have anything to do with the fact that I went to one of BU’s summer programs and put it on my activities list

@stressed4lyfe I don’t think that’s quite right. It looks as though they roll out the decisions over the course of the day. They will email you when your notifications are live on the portal. They ask you not to check until you receive that notification.
I assume they do this so that applicants don’t overwhelm the server, which is apparently what happened when all of the MIT applicants tried to check their status at 9:26 on 3/14/15! (Yes, you’d think MIT engineers could build servers that could take that level of demand, but apparently not this year!)
Yes, you can check at any time. But if you do that, you increase the risk of overwhelming the system so that everyone’s shut out of the system – including you!

I was accepted to both BU (ED) and Northeastern (EA) and I am wondering which one is harder to get into? BU is seen to be more prestigious, but is it any harder to get in to than Northeastern?
