Hi CC!!!
I am currently taking AP Biology, and plan on taking the SATII Biology E/M also. The tests are both in May. My question is this. If I am spending large amounts of time studying for my AP Bio exam (example looking over notes, study guides), is it worth purchasing an SAT II study book?

I don't know, but I've not taken AP Biology, but I have taken some form of biology and went through the examples at collegeboard and I missed only 1. So yeah, getting the Prep book WILL help.

i asked my chem teacher about AP Chem and SAT II chem, and he told me some of the topics are the same, but others are differently emphasized and the such. also the SAT II asks question types that don't show up on the AP test..... so you should study for those so you have some strategy on how to go through them.

You should definately study for the SAT II. The format is quite different than the AP and some of the material is different.

Yeah, it helps to know the format as well as what specific information will be on the test (like Evilbooyaa said, different things are emphasized and you might need to know more about certain topics).

I'd go with Kaplan to prep for the SAT Bio.

thank you everyone!
