Bowdoin Transfer

<p>Have any of you transferred (or tried to transfer) to Bowdoin? I am not worried about my college GPA being an issue or my ECs or recommendations, do I need to submit scores? They are optional for first-year applicants as well…so it is okay to submit a transfer application without scores if they will not really enhance your application?</p>

<p>This year, there is not enough room for spring transfers, only fall transfers. Has anyone been a freshman mid-year (spring transfer) or did you wait until sophomore year? I appreciate any information. </p>

<p>I have always been extremely interested in Bowdoin and would like to present a good transfer application to them.</p>

<p>i don't think your scores will be as important because you took them during your junior or senior year.
you've probably learned so much since you took them, and your success in college classes is now the most important.
i don't think transfer students' information goes into the "Score Range" (like the info on collegeboard.com) so they probably don't put a big emphasis on them</p>
