Brigham Young Provo or Florida State University?

Hi There!
I've been admitted to the schools above plus these other ones:

University of South Florida
University of Central Florida
Stetson University

However I've narrowed it down to Florida State and BYU. I am a Mormon, however I am quite uneasy about the strict-ness and lack of diversity at BYU. Isn't college all about having a well-rounded view of everything? I'm just afraid I'll be too closed off from reality. If you can offer any bit of advice or recommendation I would greatly appreciate it.

Little bit about me:
I'm a female, International Baccalaureate student, and very bubbly and outgoing. I plan to become a heart-surgeon one day and so academics are particularly important to me. Because of this, I do want a school that can get me into an Ivy graduate school, but I also want to enjoy my time away from home and experience what college is really like.
I'm not a strict Mormon but I do have high standards. I surround myself with quality people, and "quality" does not mean they don't drink, smoke, etc. It just means they have leisure time in different ways than I do but still have integrity and good hearts. (I don't judge)
I want an urban college area with lots of activities and a great sports team (I LOVE football) and a good education.
Maybe I'm just asking for too much!

Anyways, thank you in advance for your replies! [:

If you’re not sold on the rules and lack of religious diversity, I’d go to FSU. Keep in mind that it may be harder to find a husband if you opt to go to FSU. Additionally, BYU has required religion courses which you would miss out on if you went to Florida State. One of my co-workers is a Mormon who chose to go to my state flagship for pretty much the same reasons you’re thinking about FSU. She doesn’t seem to have any regrets although it was somewhat difficult to coordinate her schedule with her mission trip.

Is there an LDS church near FSU? If so that may make it much easier to meet and study with other Mormons while going to a school you seem to prefer.
