Is there enough room in a Hedrick Hall Triple to store a mountain bike without taking up too much space? (Or is there a safe alternative I'm not familiar with?)

No there is nowhere near enough space to store a mountain bike.

Dude I was thinking about bringing my moutain bike too but it seems not to be worth the costs. I heard stories where they get stolen in a matter of hours and no way Im going to leave that locked outside my dorm for a whole night to get it jacked. A lot of my friends suggested bringing longboards. I tried riding one without having any prior experience. It is pretty easy, just costs a lot so I didnt buy one. Also, walking is not that bad unless you have classes all over the place.

i thought the it was pretty safe outside the dorms.

I don’t need it for on-campus use; I would need it to get to a job off campus that has been offered to me. I’ll find some other way.

I’m bringing a razor. I like it because it’s light to carry, cheap, and can store in little space. And it’s easy to ride :)

i dont think your room mates would want you to bring in your massive bike anyways… hogs space, ya diggg??

There’s bike racks outside the dorms where you can lock up your bike outside. I know someone who kept his bike under the bed for a while (he had the bottom bunk), but then he eventually moved it outside.

But UCLA is pretty hilly, so bikes aren’t that common.

my roommate had his race bike in our sproul triple last year (no way to lock a couple thousand dollar bike outside) it wasn’t too big but still took about half of the walk way…
