<p>Maybe throw-out the old one, and bring in a new one. Problem is that at the end of the year, you would lose your mattress.</p>
<p>if u don't like the mattress you get, buy a pad or an egg carton type thingy for it.</p>

<p>I live in a newer building and so the mattresses are newer too. Housing provides mattress covers. I've seen the mattresses in an older building in unit 1 and they also look newer....</p>
<p>The mattresses are pretty decent. I haven't heard of a student doing this and I think most students don't feel a need for it.</p>
