<p>i was wondering if broadcast journalism prepares you to be a news anchor? if not what major prepares you for this? </p>

<p>It gives you the skills to be a new reporter or a news producer…you need to write a lot and be good at it. and if you think you’ll be an anchor right away then this major is not for you, you probably only want the fame.</p>
