I would have had to pay a ton to apply, but I got some fee waivers so that helped a lot!

I’ve done 3 interviews so far, and I’m lined up for 2 more. I bet I’ll be getting more calls soon though.

I know is depressing to know that they MAY reject you, but one never knows! i don’t lose anything (well, yeah! I lose my money because the SAT moneysuckers) by trying and the worst things they can say is Nope.

So, they posted the D-day in April 1, will be the same for the other IVY?

Has anyone been contacted about an interview yet?
I haven’t, but they say it all depends on where you live.

Gahh I’m so nervous for April!! My love for Brown has only increased since I submitted my application…

For those applying- what are your stats?

Anyone get that email from admissions?

Yeah I just got it! I;m so anxious for April 1st but trying not to get my hopes up. I’m definitely expecting a rejection letter.

SAT 2390
SAT 2: 800 lit, 800 french, 790 math 2
rank: 1/383
GPA 4.0 unweighted
AP: 5, 5, 5, 5, 4

I thought that email was humorous. It was sooo long, just to basically say that they are reading applications.

I feel like they might have well said, “Just in case you have managed to keep yourself sane and put April 1st out of your mind, here is pointless little reminder to make you crazy with worry again!”

Or am I just alone in my craziness?

Haha, agreed.

I got way too excited when I got that email, too bad -___- haha

Yeah, same here. When I read that long email I kept on expecting something more than “Hey. We’re still reviewing applications.” I wonder if Brown’s rejection letter is just as long winded?

I felt the EXACT same ABC. Though at first, I thought it was an early rejection letter and got really scared.

Will the Decisions be online April 1 or March 31st?

I heard April 1st, starting at 5:00 pm

^ That’s what it said in the e-mail or on the account or wherever I read it…

@keikoblue2:

I totally agree! I hope they just cut to the chase if I’m rejected.
Something along the lines of: “Dear __________, We regret to inform you…”

and then I can stop reading and check my other decisions ( :

Hello all, I have applied to Brown too, I shall wait with all of you. This is so nerve racking!
GPA: 4.5
UW:4.0
ACT: 31
Lots of ECs
And I still feel inferior to most of you applying.
Anyone have any funny interview stories to tell? That might calm our nerves. My Brown interview went well, but I’m completely expecting a rejection from Yale, I babbled like an idiot.

In regards to that email, I thought it was a nice little way of Brown letting us know they didn’t forget about us, or throw out our application already. I especially liked the part about them not looking for faults, but for reasons to admit us. I hope it wasn’t idle words, it was very reassuring. :)

Hi,

What was the last email everyone received from Brown Admissions? I haven’t received any in a long time. Also, online it still says I’m missing letters of rec, and I have called and sent them in a number of times, but on the website it says not to call about missing stuff. What should I do?
