rra0917, they sent a letter a couple weeks ago. It was extremely wordy and just basically said they’re reading applications, don’t contact them unless it’s urgent, and have a nice day.
And if they still don’t have your letters, I would send them again. Maybe they got lost? Talk with your counselor…

ugh this wait is killing me. i just want to know haha

I know that Brown posts decisions in a separate login site where you have to use your username and password. Does every single school do it like this or do some schools, like Harvard and Stanford (I think), just send you an email with your decision?

Thanks.

@Student10000: Some schools have separate logins (like Brown), and others use e-mail (like Stanford).

Typically speaking, please correct me if I’m wrong, if a school sends you a log-in to check your application status, that school probably will have you use that same log-in username/password to check your decision on April 1st.

Most likely, you’ll get an e-mail from the college saying that your decision is online, with a link in the body. Then you’ll use your assigned username/password to access it.

One month!

ahh everyone else is applying to so many top-notch schools and have top-notch grades/test scores! it makes me even more nervous to see that! haha

Whee! Now that we’re less than a month away, I can start my countdown. Ahh! :D

It never fails to show that CCers don’t emphasize the non-quanitifable things. Like just being a cool person to talk to. The little things matter, man!

I had my interview at the begining of Feb……2 months of waiting…Ahhhh!!! Fortunately I have already killed half of it…

omg Brown Admission received 30100 undergraduate applications this year!!

/

That’s really comforting… Thanks… ;)

^absolutely!

20 days, 20 hours!

20 days, 2 hours, and 21 minutes for me!

Brown recently asked my son’s HS for his third quarter grades. Is this common? Guess it shows that no decision has been made.

wow thats interesting. that would suck for me!

That is interesting. I’d take it as a good sign-- he’s still in the running. Looks like he’s borderline, and they want to ensure he’s keeping up the good work. I hope the best for him!
No, though, it is certainly not a very common request.

I’m very excited about the upcoming Brown decisions. It’s come to be one of my top, top choices, because it fits me so well. Even if I was accepted to all of HYP in addition to Brown, it’d be a very tough choice.

Fortunately, he did well third quarter. He’s having fun his senior year, but seems immune to senioritis - he just really enjoys studying.

haha thank god i dont have to deal with this RD stuff. senioritis hit me hard lol. good luck and i sgree it does seem like a good sign that they would ask

So are the online decisions coming April 1 for March 31 like previous years?
And why aren’t they sending letters in the mail?
