Hi everyone,
I was wandering if some of you could help me out!?! I was accepted as a transfer student at Georgetown, Barnard, and Brown (total shock!) I'm having the most trouble deciding between Brown and Barnard and I want to make sure I give Georgetown enough of a consideration. I love city and rural, I want a diverse student population (ethnically, geographically, socioeconomically, and religiously), and great social options. I want a place where I can be spontaneous. Student-prof interaction if possible would be great too. I would love any input...I applied to 16 colleges the first time around and 4 this time (I decided not to go to NYU) and I need some guidance! Thanks!

Congratulations on all of your acceptances, first and foremost. :) What is it that you're majoring in? They are all three great schools, but I feel like each has their strong points in certain academic areas. :)

Hi! Thanks for your response. I have trouble with this question since I love everything...I'm a wannabe science person:) but I'm thinking of Spanish/English. I want to do something with Spanish Journalism...weird, huh?

Go to BROWN!! OMG I could go on for hours why...its an awesome balance of a community/ city life, its academics are the best on this list. I transferred out of Columbia because of the lack of community and almost went to Brown. You only get to go to college once, and the community experience, big weekends, etc is a big plus for Brown, and the people are great too. Its absolutely a diverse, open minded place, and the social options literally are so much better IMO than Barnard.

Georgetown doesnt have the intellectual/ religious/ ethnic diversity you are looking for compared to the other two.
