My thoughts exactly. I felt like they asked too much and offered too little space to answer. I feel as though they could have learned more about me had they asked 2/3 of the questions and offered more space to show depth. Especially the “why did you choose the area of study”…how am I supposed to fit that in TWO sentences?!

Character/word limits are the worst!

Has a date been set for decisions?

They probably won’t set a date until sometime in March. It’s usually right around April 1st.

According to [Brown University Admission Decision](http://admissiondecision.brown.edu/), decisions will be available March 28, 2013 after 5pm.

perhaps we should get a list going with username and location?

I think I’m going to explode. Three months is a damn sight too long for me. I’m also wondering if I shouldn’t have taken the whole supplement at face value (which I did)… and I’ve just scheduled my interview and am now a bit stressed about that. Can someone please just give me a hug? lol, I’m only half joking…

@stupiddorkyidiot How did you schedule your interview?

shontaya - I got an email. The alumni committee in your area will assign an interviewer to you (assuming there is one in your area), who should contact you to set something up.

I actually just got home from my interview! It went really well. This is obviously a broad generalization, but I think Brown alumni are pretty low-key and generally very interesting people.

I loved the brown supplement! So much fun

@stupiddorkyidiot:

What kinds of questions did the interviewer ask? Have any tips on interviewing in the future?

@2020 - if you’re curious about that, there’s a whole stickied thread about it. Honestly though, I mean this in the best possible way, and I don’t want to sound condescending… but please do yourself a favor and get off these message boards. Seriously. Either you’re a massive ■■■■■ or you’re a paranoid hs freshman, and neither of those categories belongs on this section of CC. Right now, you should spend your time having fun and doing what you love. You’re not going to have to interview for another three years! When you get to junior year, you’re allowed to start worrying, okay?

I second stupiddorkyidiot (even though I feel stupid myself writing the same haha, no offense). Enjoy your first couple years of high school, before the work gets extremely hard and the school induced depression creeps in.

@grayson - my username is left over from my 6th grade AIM handle… hahaha. I honestly had no idea that I even had a CC account under this name until I tried to log in and it worked. But it’s stuck, so I’m still using it :P

I wasn’t trying to insult you at all. It just felt weird agreeing with a stupiddorkyidiot. We’ve all got those pre-adolescent usernames haha
