@gobruno22 My brother is a recruited athlete!
I sent a facebook message to Brown undergraduate admissions. They will let us know their decisions no later than the 16th.
@juju612 Iâm currently doing Differential Equations and Linear Algebra, and previously did Multivariable Calculus (and obviously, before that AB and BC at school). By the time I graduate Iâll also have finished the calc-based Physics intro sequence for Physics majors (I did mechanics, taking electromagnetism next semester) (Itâs funny because Iâm not even planning on being a Physics concentrator- Iâm looking at Geology-Chemistry and Astronomy) @mackblue AWWWWW I LOVE HIM (her?)
I agree with @sciencenerd123 , the lack of a specific date and time might feel annoying, but constantly bothering admissions officers about it wonât help anyone. Just take a deep breath everyone, itâs probably going to be tomorrow.
There is no âIvy Week.â
Brownâs part is to notify applicants mid-December.
I love the political discussions! So disappointed I was asleep last night and missed it. But anyway, hereâs to hoping we all get that email from Brown today!
They just created the Facebook group for admitted students within the past hour⊠no description for it yet though. It is linked to Brownâs Admissions Facebook page.
Is it the same as the other facebook group or a new one?
As far as I can tell it looks like a new one that is very similar to the one weâd seen deleted.
I am excited!!! The AO in my region is in that group! The result may come out soon omg I am nervous
@Dashriek_712 4pm in which time zone?
The new page was deleted/ is not showing up. Omg I just want to know so badly
Yeah they deleted it again. Omg stop messing with my emotions!
@Dashriek_712 please tell me youâre talking about Akron OH because that would be so crazy, Iâm from there
Can sending in your financial aid documents late affect your admission decision because I just sent mine and I am scared it might be too late. Please tell me it doesnât
Financial aid stuff is due at the same time as the ED application deadline I believe. Itâs definitely too lateâI donât think it will affect your admissions decision, but you probably wonât get financial aid idk.
Early Decision financial aid documents were due November 1st, regular decision due Feb 1st.

If you do get in, you will have to break the ED agreement because you wonât have financial aid and I assume you probably wonât be able to pay full tuition. I guess your best bet is to hope you get deferred and then your financial aid stuff will be there by the regular decision deadline. Then hope you get accepted RD. Maybe if you get in, you can talk to them but I doubt they will be flexible considering the deadline was more than a month ago.
I canât 100% verify the accuracy of this, but Iâve heard from past Brown applicants that if you turn in your financial documents late, it just results in a delay in receiving your financial aid package. But it wonât affect your decision and you will probably still receive financial aid. Again, not 100% sure thatâs accurate, but itâs what Iâve heard. Brown seems pretty understanding and if you get in they will probably help you work things out.
Question: do you think my chances of getting in are more slim that before bc I didnât submit subject tests?
