Have state school safeties

Since you are Native American, you have extremely high chances at your schools listed, especially Brown ED.

thanks…Im really hoping so. anybody else?

any advice?

Bumpppppppppppppppppppppp

and possibly UVA (OOS) as well. But I doubt it.

I think it might happen, but you’re really depending on your URM status obviously to pull you through.

Your grades are pretty good but “omgamazing.” since you’re Native American you’re definitely in.

so your sure it is weighted that much?

I saw that Brown only had like 20 native americans on campus though haha…
but brother got into some good schools, however, his stats were a bit higher. Love the sibling thing…

anybody agree/disagree/think anything of this?!!!

bummer…guess this is dead hahaha

anyone else please? Just SO nervous.

Big bump!!!

be glad that you’re a native american from oklahoma.
you couldn’t have picked a better background for admissions

Haha thanks Lemonio!

So am I wasting my time, will i get deferred, admitted?!

THANK YOU FOR REPLYING!!

Anyone?!

I know I have subpar academic stats but will my ethnicity and ECs help me get in?

…no love! =(

Gosh I wish I was a URM for college admissions. :P

Good luck, your URM status will definitely give you a huge boost. !

All of them – in.

Re-take the ACT if you’re nervous, though. Your GPA is fine.

You probably have good chances at many of these schools, but a large part of this is due to your URM status/geographic residence. Your act is definitely a little low for some of your schools (definitely on the low side for Brown and Amherst), but you have good ECs as well. I’d say a pretty good shot at a deferral/acceptance at Brown. If not, extremely likely to get into at least a couple of your other choices.

But remember, these schools are incredibly difficult to get in to. Good Luck! :)

Colleges will eat it up thanks to your race.

Have you considered applying to Harvard, Yale, and Princeton?

You should get into Tulane, and I would think at least one of the others. Rather than going to what you think is the most prestigious school you get into, it is much better to go where you feel most comfortable. I am not sure how practical it is for you to visit your top 4-5 choices, but if you can stay a night or two on campus, go to a few classes, and hang out with students some, you will be much better off I think.
