Brown PLME stats

heard many people got in HSYPM, but not PLME
heard many people with low GPA/SAT, but still get in HSYPM

is there anyone heard some people got in PLME with low GPA/SAT

Or in order to get in PLME, GPA has to be 4.0 uw, SAT 2350+, won famous awards, did medical related intern/volunteer/research

I start to collect the samples

Very appreciate you provide me the samples

don’t know about GPA, but the average SAT Score for students accepted into the PLME last year was in the lower 2200’s.

Average value does not help
I want to collect the real samples with low GPA/SAT, and still get in
What are their special?

specific lower GPA / SAT

GPA: rank > 10%
SAT: < 2200

Not that many current PLMEs post on this forum, so you might have a difficult time getting your “samples.” I believe I’m the only one who posts regularly, and I had higher GPA/SAT than what you’re looking for.

Is this really going to help you? Just wait two weeks and see how things go. Try to enjoy yourself instead of freaking out about admissions.

This is not only to help me, but also to help all future students
I only request lower GPA/SAT samples.
HYPSM have those, does PLME have such also?
Thank you very much

GPA: 3.87, 9/150

wow, this really helps a lot with identifying the students most likely to get into PLME…
-___-

I appreciate your efforts on trying to compile stats, but I feel that it doesn’t really help with medical programs. Much/most of it is determined from other variable things such as extracurriculars and essays.

If a person has SAT: 1960, SAT2: 700m, 680c, 700b, GPA: 3.5

And he/she won Intel or simens awards, and he/she did 3 years shadowing. And all recs. letters are pretty good. All essays/supplements show very passionate. Do you think he/shel will get in?

NO, not to PLME, maybe not to Brown regular either, depending.
