<p>I just called for my decision: waitlisted. I’m pretty sure they mailed all decisions out at the same time for those who are wondering.</p>
<p>I am really scared right now >< I rather have “Spring 2013” show up on my portal than seeing “Fall 2012”… I doubt I will get admitted for the Fall term, and seeing no change really make me think I will get a rejection soon… :[</p>

<p>Haha it’s sort of a long story.
Spent freshman year at Rice University (Biochem) GPA 3.8. Transferred to RISD (Industrial Design) GPA 3.9. SAT: 2330. Pretty involved in terms of ECs and essays explain my reasons for changing schools. However, my Brown application was turned in pretty late, so that may have played a role. No FA.</p>

<p>Has anyone else who got in via phone not seen any changes on their selfservice account? I can’t view any financial aid info and basically everything looks the same as before… They asked a bunch of very specific personal questions to make sure they had the right person before telling me on the phone but I have this irrational fear that they made a mistake and I didn’t actually get in XP</p>

<p>^^^Hey CStransfer, I just talked to admissions, they wouldn’t give me my decision, I asked what it meant then that some people already had financial awards and she told me because they are putting them in, so if it’s not up yet don’t worry. Myself on the other hand, has nothing up there, no letter, and am certain it’s because I have been REJECTED…</p>

<p>THANK YOU!!! You just took a huge weight off my shoulders!!! Also, if you are on the west coast it makes sense that you don’t have your letter yet. I still don’t have my acceptance packet. And I thought I had no chance of getting in and called yesterday so I could just find out for sure I got rejected and move on with my life… then he told me I was admitted for fall!!! So you really never know. Also, if you tell them that your letter is going to your home address and not your school one and you don’t want your family to find out before you, they might give you your decision via phone because that’s what I told them and it worked.</p>

<p>Just received my letter today (Mid-Atlantic). Got in! Yay! I’ll do a quick summary of my stats if people want. I don’t know if I’m going to go…still waiting on Yale (have low hopes there, but then again, didn’t expect Brown either). But mostly I might stay where I am. We’ll see.</p>
<p>HS GPA: 3.93 (school does not weight or rank)
SAT: 2370
ECs: Debate, Technical theater (leadership positions in both), summer job watering trees, internship at ACLU</p>
<p>College GPA: 3.75
ECs: Tutoring at elementary school
Major: Linguistics and French</p>
<p>Downward trend from HS to college, basically no ECs…so thought I was screwed. Once again, essays are all that matter (or something like that).</p>
