@jaren my speculation is that the supplement upload disappears after someone has been admitted or rejected and it stays if you’ve been deferred
i already submitted my photo so i guess not
@ap012199 from what ive seen here, if thats the case there is a freakishly high number of defers lmao

@jaren sorry if you’ve already answered this but, the option to submit supplementary materials, before you were called & told that you were accepted, had gone away?

i saw a guy tonight who used to interview for brown…he is a local doc in the area. he told me that brown has one of the highest deferral rates of anyone…said it’s like yale. of the people i know at brown, more were originally deferred and got in RD than any other school i know. all of my other friends who applied ED usually got in. so brown seems to be an outlier for the majority of us. i have a thing ‘about’ photos…but i am pretty sure it is because i did a summer program. it doesn’t give an option to upload. it says the following:Brown ID Online Photo Submission
Transparent Image
Only newly admitted students for this term and for future terms are eligible to submit a photo.
Please contact the Brown Card Office for more information.
Again…I did a Summer@Brown, and as mentioned earlier, people who did Summer@Brown have lotsa stuff on portal. Means nothing for us. 
I’m sticking to my supplemental upload theory: if it’s still there, it probably means you were deferred.

@jackf1234…is your photo thing under Student Tab and is it amongst a bunch of other things like Course Evaluations/Registration/Student Records/Student Account? If you click it does it say what my post right above this says? And…did you do Summer@Brown? Is your app listed as processed? Have access to suppl. material uploading?
