Hey guys so apparently some people’s portals have a button that you click to see your decision and others just have something that reads along the lines of “decisions are currently not available” instead of a button. I doubt it means anything, but who has the button and who has the sentence instead?
^when it’s 1 AM and you have no life :))
I have the sentence.
Wait how do you see that?
I have the sentence.
I think it’s for ED applicants who were deferred. But I could be wrong.
@HB1999 some deferred candidates have the sentence while other deferred candidates still have the button. Don’t think it means anything though.
I have the sentence. I applied RD.
I don’t see any sentence or button
@ambitionsquared go to your app status, click on your app, and then it should have a little spot that says decision.
I’ve got the sentence
I don’t have the sentence either. For me, it says “Admissions decisions are currently unavailable.”
@cjchasinglife You have the sentence then; that’s the sentence we’re referring to. Other people said they had a button instead.
Wait. My mistake.
I have the button. I had applied ED
@y90y90 oh, i see, thank you for clarifying. I applied RD, so it has nothing to do with being deferred or not, if that helps anyone.
I have the sentence. Do you think the applicants who have the button means Brown already decided if that applicant was accepted/waitlisted/rejected? I feel like that’s a possibility haha
Applied as ED, got deferred. Until like three days ago, I had the button but now it changed back into the sentence… hmm
I have the sentence and applied RD!
Seems like all RD candidates have the sentence while deferred ED candidates have both (I was deferred and have the sentence).
^^ Yep that’s probably it! I was deferred ED and still have the button so admissions is probably still looking at my app… I really hope that’s a good sign lol
Did any RD candidates ever have the button? I think you guys always have had the sentence while ED candidates used to all have the button but now the button has been turning into a sentence for us too. Don’t know if it means anything – it probably doesn’t – but it could have to do with our apps already being looked over for a second time.
Wait, so does anyone in regular decision have the button? Mine says the sentence, and I saw a couple of RD get happy over it, so I was wondering if it meant something really good.
