<p>Hey, I'm trying to decide between Johns Hopkins and Brown. Needless to say, I want to go to medical school after I complete my undergraduate studies.</p>
<p>I've heard that Johns Hopkins is really competitive, but I think I will be okay with that. I'm a Biomedical Engineering Major at Hopkins. </p>

<p>jonthelin, I'd be looking at the average GPA's for BME majors at Hopkins if I were you. Something tells me they may not be that high. Some pre-meds might worry about that.</p>
<p>Sometimes adcoms take that you are an engineering major when looking at gpa's. They know your course work is harder than, let say psychology. But it cant be in the 2's.</p>
