<p>Penguin, I’m kind of shocked that you got waitlisted, because my GPA is much lower than yours and my “Why Bryn Mawr” was pretty awful (started it at 11:15 the night it was due). Now I’m getting paranoid Bryn Mawr has pulled a Vassar and these decisions are erroneous…</p>

<p>I’m still kind of hoping they pulled a Vasaar (I’m sure you’d still be safe if that were the case though diana), but I doubt that happened.</p>
<p>My BM essay was generic, but still pretty decent, and I showed A LOT of interest. Hopefully I’ll get off of the WL still!</p>
<p>MissGen-- haha I feel like I’ve seen you EVERYWHERE on the CC boards, and I’ve always thought you seemed cool too! We seem to have a lot of overlap, so maybe we’ll end up at a college together?</p>

<p>My dd was accepted! (logging in was a nightmare, I don’t know why two computers couldn’t do it and then I could with my iPad), and the financial aid is more than I expected.</p>

<p>Accepted with a 2040 SAT (760 CR, 580 M, 700 W) and subject tests (Lit 710) )US History 690), GPA 4.0 (weighted) 3.8 (not weighted) and 1st semester 4.5. I think my essays and reqs were quite strong, as well as a positive interview (though it was one of my first.) I am a full IB diploma candidate. I was also awarded the Bryn Mawr Grant for merit:) Good luck to everyone on the waitlist!</p>
